Thx for the great photo and useful write-up! It helped me to save me approx. a huge basket of money: ignition key of MY98 SAAB 95 did not turn easily after WD40 lubrication; a huge amount of dirt accumulated under in the ignition barrel. 
Dead easy to remove and cleaning the cylinder (one of the smarts Swedish engineering solution); proposed as yearly maintenance.</description>

The wipers, cigarette lighter and windows get power intermittantly while driving the car.

I suspect something in the ignition.  Would what you suggest fix this problem, or is it more in the ignition switch?
